Our Story

It started in a small
New York apartment.

In the hours between a cat's 6 a.m. wake-up call and the first cup of coffee, we looked at everything we'd bought for the animals we love and found it loud, plastic and forgettable. None of it looked like it belonged in a home anyone had actually made.

So we started over, slowly. One material at a time, one shade of teal argued about for a week. Pets aren't accessories — they share the house. The things they eat from and live with should be as considered as everything else in it.

Our Standard

What we'll say, and what we won't.

Most of this category sells on claims nobody checks. We'd rather publish the line we won't cross, so you can hold us to it.

Materials

We say

Food-grade silicone and SUS304 stainless on everything they eat from. Dishwasher-safe, built to be kept rather than replaced.

We won't say

That a material is "premium" without telling you which one it is. The grade is the claim — everything else is decoration.

Freshness

We say

Fragrance-free. No perfumes, no dyes. Where we work on odour, the job is to absorb it at the source rather than cover it.

We won't say

Antibacterial, sanitising, or disinfecting. Those are regulated claims with registrations behind them, and we don't hold one.

Mealtime

We say

A maze base makes a fast meal last longer and gives a bored cat something to work at. That's a description of the shape.

We won't say

That it aids digestion, prevents bloat, or calms anxiety. We design objects. Your vet does medicine, and we're not going to blur that.

Origin

We say

Designed in New York. Manufactured by partners we've chosen deliberately, sampled repeatedly, and paid properly.

We won't say

"Made in the USA." Our goods are made overseas, the law on that phrase is specific, and a brand that fudges its own label will fudge other things too.

The House

Quality control has four legs.

Two cats share the apartment this brand is designed in. Nothing gets ordered that they haven't lived with first.

Starts it, wants it, and has opinions about the volume of the bowl. If a dish can be pushed across a kitchen floor, he will find out how far.

Watches, judges, says nothing. Nothing leaves this apartment that she hasn't sat on, inspected, and silently declined to endorse.

If they won't eat off it, we don't ship it.

What We Make

Built around the daily rituals.

Three quiet categories, taken one at a time. We'd rather do one properly than four at once — so here's honestly where each one stands.

The First Piece

This is the sample, not a render.

Every photograph below is ours — taken on a balcony and in a doorway, in ordinary afternoon light, on the moulded part itself. No studio, no stock library, nothing retouched.

Material
Food-grade silicone, moulded in one piece. No glued parts, no insert, nothing that can work loose.
Face
Two sets of concentric arches, crossed by straight channels that run all the way out to the rim.
Mark
Debossed into the outer wall in the mould — not printed, not a sticker, nothing to wear off in the wash.
Colour
Savorypaw teal, matte and unpolished. Pigmented through the silicone rather than coated on the surface.
And what we won’t say about it

That it will calm your cat, settle their stomach, or stay put on a tiled floor. We have not tested any of that, so we are not going to print it. What we can tell you is what it is made of, how it was made, and that the photograph above is the actual thing.
